Who is responsible

Muktify is built and run by its founder, Vijay Singh Sinhmar, who is responsible for what the guides say. More on the About page.

Where the figures come from

• Every rupee figure in a guide is worked out by the same code that runs the calculators. Nobody types a tax or EMI figure by hand.
• Tax slabs, rebates, caps and deductions are the published rules for the financial year the page names, currently FY 2026-27.
• Automated tests check the stated figures against that code on every change, so a rule change that moves a figure fails the build until the page is updated.
• Where a figure rests on an example — an interest rate, a salary structure, a deduction — the page says so next to it.

Dates on every guide

Each guide shows the date its text was last updated, at the top and at the bottom. Salary pages also show the date their rules (tax slabs, the PF wage ceiling) were last checked. The date moves only when the page or its rules change, not when the site is rebuilt.

What the guides never do

• Name, rank or recommend a stock, fund, policy or bank.
• Promise a return or assume one for you.
• Take payment to mention a product. Muktify earns nothing from where you put your money.

Corrections

If a figure looks wrong, write to support@muktify.in. A confirmed error is fixed in the page and its updated date changes.
